This loft conversion transformed an underused roof space into a bright and practical additional floor, providing valuable extra accommodation without increasing the footprint of the property.
The existing roof space was carefully reconfigured to maximise the available headroom and usable floor area. Rooflights introduce natural light throughout the conversion, while the new staircase provides a natural connection with the existing house.
The completed space includes a new bedroom and contemporary combined toilet and shower room, with fitted storage incorporated into the eaves to make efficient use of otherwise restricted areas. Internal finishes were kept clean and simple, creating a light, comfortable space that feels like an integral part of the original home rather than an addition.
